Tarka is the inner debate inquiring into the true, absolute nature of something. It is the application of in depth logical thinking that has us asking questions, that lead to answers, that lead to more questions, and, finally, arrive at the Truth. The answer where no question arises. Reality. The answer provable at all times and all places, by our own experience. Irrefutable, non-debatable, rationally provable truth!
The Yogis took this power we all innately have and aimed it at answering the most important questions in life. Our weekend retreat will focus on using pure Tarka, beyond all emotion, public opinion, social norms, etc. to answer what is the true potential of a human life. We are all born wanting fulfillment, we seek it our whole lives. Application of Tarka, pure reason and rationale, leads us to the truth of how to find true fulfillment. Imagine a world governed by compassion and irrefutable logic, where the irrational destruction of our bodies, our fellow species and the planet no longer exists!
Through discourse, discussion, contemplation and application we will examine, discover and harness the life changing, world changing power of Tarka: intense reason and rationale.
