Summer Solstice Festival

  • Sat Manav Yoga Ashram 243 Greenwood Brook Road Industry, ME, 04938 United States (map)

The Summer Solstice occurs when the Earth's northern pole reaches the apex of its tilt toward the Sun, causing the longest day of the year. The smallest things in life can have a huge effect on our state of being. Cultures the world over have honored and celebrated the effects these planetary movements have on us. Yogis have looked to take this a step further by aligning themselves with these movements to take advantage of the astronomical shift.

The Summer Solstice is an ideal time to embrace the light of truth. Only in understanding reality and realizing the purpose of our lives can we live it! Fulfillment lies in this clarity! We hope you will join us to celebrate explore what it means to be a true human being through the wisdom of Yoga.

Ashram festivals are a remarkable opportunity to join a group of people living the ancient, traditional way of life Yogis have followed for thousands of years. Travel back to a time centered on what matters most in life, step back from what has become the “norm” and embrace a very old way of honoring life. This is a day of inspiring intensives, illuminating discourse, uplifting ceremony, incredible food and live music!

Suggested donation: $90/full day, $45/half day. Overnight accommodation: $75/per room, per night. $250/whole weekend (accommodation included). Kids welcome! For questions please text or call Uma at (207) 578-8227. Thank you!
