Baba Jayanti ~ Honoring the Yogis

We will be celebrating Guru Purnima, the annual festival Yogis celebrate when they don't know the birthday of their Guru. This year Guru Purnima falls on July 3rd. Baba, our Guru's, birthday is on July 6th.

Guru means remover of darkness. According to scripture, the Guru is the "finger pointing at the moon." Our true nature is innate in each person. But we all need the external aid of someone wiser than us to help us remove the darkness that clouds our vision.

This festival is dedicated to honoring our Guru Baba, who has changed the lives of countless people with his profound wisdom and enduring compassion for all beings. This festival celebrates all true Gurus, everywhere, who work tirelessly to enlighten hearts and minds.

New to Yoga? An avid practitioner? Either way this is the perfect opportunity to learn the incredible depth and breadth of what Yoga has to offer. Join us for a day of celebration with live music, amazing food, enlightening discourse and discussion, illuminating ceremony and insight! All uniting us in our true purpose as human beings. See you soon!
