In every month of the luni-solar Hindu calendar, there is a Shivaratri – "night of Shiva" – on the day before new moon. But once a year, in late winter this night is called "Maha Shivaratri" – "the Great Night of Shiva".
This festival is dedicated to overcoming darkness and ignorance. It is observed by honoring Shiva, the primordial male Yogi. He is the epitome of fierce compassion, enduring strength, and unshakable attention on what matters most in this life. These are the qualities the practice of Yoga instills in us.
Join us for a deep dive into the embodiment of the divine masculine and how this strength can aid each and every one of us in our endeavors for growth and positive change.
Shiva is the personification of the power and expansive all human beings innately possess. Join us to celebrate and discover this latent power within you!
