Music has a unifying power. People will sing together who might never share a word otherwise. People will dance together who might never cross paths.

Music has a powerful place in all cultures and traditions. Kirtan was born out of yogis love for life and a passion for celebrating that love.

Sung in call-and-response style Kirtan is truly a concert. There is no division between audience and performer. Yoga means union, Kirtan is an ancient Yogic practice creating union among all who join us to sing, dance or enjoy in silence.

The ancient Sanskrit melodious chants and the energetic hand percussion of drums and symbols Shiva Lila's music is uplifting, invigorating and peace inducing all at once.
