Chef Sunyata Shyam

I have been living a yogi life for nearly 25 years. During this time I have studied Traditional  Yogic medicine , massage and Yoga. I was drawn to the practice of Yoga and Yogic health from an early age . I really wanted to find out what the best diet was  for health and longevity and what to eat that wouldn’t cause harm to other species. This lead me to the path of the Satvic vegan diet . As a seasoned chef at Sat Manav Yoga Ashram and mother of four , I have fed countless people of all ages, and needs .  As a Satvic Vegan Chef I work with our other Ashram chefs to design the ashram diet and prepare satvic meals . I also work one on one with clients to design personal health  plans . I love to create plant based versions of traditional ethnic recipes ,prepare buffets for large events  and absolutely love making fancy (healthy) intricate desserts .  Hope to feed you soon!
